Superior to traditional wedding cakes in every regard. Black Star Pastry were not only easy to deal with, reliably delivered our cake in advance of our ceremony, they also ensured that our favourite cake was part of our special day. We did three tastings with highly rated cake providers and we found them all very underwhelming. We were very glad we went down a non-traditional route and got the Black Star Pastry's strawberry watermelon cake!

Terrific food and atmosphere with incomparable views of Sydney made for a stunning reception venue for our wedding. The staff were beyond gracious and our family and friends had a wonderful night celebrating!

We got married in the wonderful Lion Gate Lodge in the Royal Botanic Gardens. We loved the privacy and natural splendour of the gardens for our ceremony and would recommend the venue to any would-be couple.

Kristine was wonderful in every respect. Her content was terrific (capturing angles and perspectives our photographer didn't) and preparing the most wonderful reel of our day. We are so grateful to Kristine for going above and beyond on our day including to give us a lift to the reception venue when rain started unexpectedly at our portrait shoot location! She was a joy to be around and very kind and helpful. We recommend Kristine and her team highly!
